I've received a number of requests for my Fallout: New Vegas load order, so ask and ye shall receive!

Note ahead of time, however, that some of these entries are a little deceptive, as I use the older versions of some mods out of personal preference, and not all of those old versions are available for download on their respective Nexus pages. Also, this list doesn't reflect the many texture and model replacers that I use, such as Millenia's Weapon Retexture Project.

All that said, I can claim reliable stability with this arrangement, so do feel free to extrapolate your own ideas from it, or use it as a safe order to touch and go from.

Greetings, everyone!

I know the resource posts for approved classes, races, and such haven't gone up yet (Vi's laptop is proving quite uncooperative, I'm afraid), so please be patient with us as we try to collect those via alternate means, but so that you can all start conceptualizing basic character concepts, if not definite builds quite yet, I've decided to reveal my plans for our first play-by-post campaign!

First, Vi and I will post a quick series of example posts in a new thread, essentially demonstrating some of the basic game mechanics and the format to use for your own posts moving forward. Note that this thread won't just be a throwaway encounter, but a hook of sorts, giving you all your first glimpse of the narrative to come.

Once that concludes, the reins are yours, and your characters will take the spotlight as Vi and I assume the roles of GMs. I'll be conducting the bulk of the narration and rules adjudication, while Vi will play many of the NPCs you'll run across. The setting we'll be opening up in is the quiet, brooding little town of Kantaria, located in the northern heartlands of the nation of Cheliax. (See the link at the bottom of this post for more info regarding Cheliax. Note that you aren't necessarily expected to know all of that information, but it is there for the curious)

Once a prosperous mining town, Kantaria has fallen on hard times of late, as the iron veins that once gave life to an otherwise unremarkable region have recently run dry, and while a small ruby mining operation is still producing some results in the hills north of town, the site is small, and no longer provides labor opportunities enough to sustain a town of 1,190 citizens, laborers, and servants.

Nevertheless, Kantarian folk are a hardy and resourceful lot, and have recently redoubled the town's once meager trade in logging and milling, focusing their attentions on the untapped Barrowood forest that borders the southern end of town and floating their cuttings downriver toward the Chelish capital of Egorian via large rafts and barges. Thus far, the town has remained self-sufficient, though many murmur of dwindling stores and worries for the coming winters.

The local Baron, Konstantin Kantaria, is but the latest scion of a once-esteemed Chelish house, who approaches rulership of the town from a distant, minimalistic perspective, content to trust in the citizens' elected mayor and the local Hellknight paravicar's abilities to keep daily business and order running smoothly. The baron rarely appears in Kantaria proper, reclusively shutting himself away in the family's remote manner to the north of town, which he and his sister came to occupy not so many years ago after the sudden and mysterious deaths of their parents and grandfather, devout vassals of House Thrune all.

Little draws visitors all the way northward to Kantaria save regular trade shipments, the occasional pilgrim visiting the local shrine of the goddess Iomedae, and the arrival of debtors and prisoners unable to pay their fines, who are regularly sentenced to hard labor in the mines, and more recently the lumber camps, until they are able to work off their dues. No walls surround this town, nor fences, for it has been nearly a century since Kantaria last experienced even the briefest glimpse of large-scale combat, its walls having since been dismantled for the more practical purpose of constructing new structures about town proper. All that prevents forced laborers from running are the ever-present Hellknight patrols, quick to return escapees to their duties with extended fines as punishment, and at least a hundred mile trek in any direction before one might reach another settlement.

Now that you know a bit more about the immediate setting, feel free to build character concepts with this starting point in mind. Remember: you may use this information in any way you wish, whether it's crafting your own Kantaria local, a mercenary passing through, a newcomer of any stripe, or even a laborer recently released and without a place to go. Whatever you've got in mind, Vi and I can probably help you realize it, so feel free to contact us to bounce ideas off of, to ask any questions you might have regarding the rules, setting clarification or anything else, and we'll do what we can to set you straight.

Notes regarding Cheliax proper:

Welcome to Dino Week, everyone!

As we have in the past with the Slendython, we occasionally run themed content weeks here at LLP. This time, I could resist the call of the majestic dinosaur no longer. I'll try to upload a few episodes of our usual running series so that those who don't share my love of the prehistoric can still enjoy their week with us, but dinos may very well steal the show for the time being.

In that spirit, let's hear it: What are your favorite dinosaur games, past, present, and even future, and what made them great?

For my part, the number one dino game has got to be Dino Crisis, followed very closely by Turok 2: Seeds of Evil!

And/or, if you prefer: What was your favorite moment involving dinosaurs in a game?

As one might expect, given my answer to the first question, my answer to this one, sans spoilers, is the player's first non-cutscene run-in with the T-Rex in Dino Crisis. The sheer shock value, even knowing it's out there already, left a lasting impression on me that still calls my shoulders up to my ears to this day.

As I sit here with an indestructible smile on my face and a tightening in the back of my throat, having just received yet another game donation from one of you via Steam, I find myself compelled to give thanks to those who've found us worthy of such donation. I've never asked anything of our audience except for their viewership, and yet, time and again you all have displayed amazing generosity, donating games and even cash to us here at Last Level Press. That's not something I take lightly, no matter how small the donation, as it reflects much more to me than a simple monetary investment. It's an investiture of faith in our ability to continue delivering content that you will love and enjoy, and it tells me that you not only support what we've done, but where we're going, and that is a compliment of the absolute highest caliber.

Now, without further ado, I reveal our donations credits list, which I'll update as necessary in the future:
