Name: Jakob Valdez
Appearance: 6 foot 0, 160 lbs
Jakob Valdez hails from the far off land of Lodran where he was grew up in a clan that lived by a code of honor during dueling and had a hierarchy within the clan. Jakob spent most of his youth working in a Forge as a Blacksmith's assistant, moving the chunks of ore and scrap metal that would eventually become weapons around the Forge and carrying the weapons out to the training fields for fighters to use. When he was not in the Forge, he practiced fighting with other youth of the clan and as his combat skills grew more adept, some of the Adults who had seen him practice before. However he lacked the honor in fighting that his clan adhered to. He was cast out from the clan after he almost killed one of his sparring partners. He left the evening that happened, not before stopping by the Forge to steal a weapon and some gear.
Valdez has since been living abroad since that day. He traveled far off from Lodran, desperate to find work, but has yet to find any jobs that last a significant amount of time. He had heard rumors that the town of Kantaria had recently entered the logging industry and thought that there would certainly be a long lasting job there for him.
